Take-Home Folder vs. Planners

Starting next week, students will begin nightly homework. Mrs. Lapadat and I decided to use a take home folder this year for graded papers, as well as, a page that combines their homework with a planner sheet that relays information about upcoming events. The sheet also contains a place to communicate your student’s behavior for the day (see photo below for an example of what to expect).

Please have your child complete the homework listed and sign and return the page in the take home folder each day.

The 30 Book Challenge is also located in the back pocket of the folder for you to fill out when your student has completed a book.

NOTE: We do not have separate planners this year and instead will be using the take home folder instead.
