SALTA Test Information

The Sunrise SALTA test dates:

October 22, 2018

October 24, 2018

Testing will take place on the dates listed above in our Sunrise computer lab. Please make sure that your student is on time.

Parents MUST COMPLETE the SALTA Test Application online before October 3, 2018. The application window open on September 10, 2018. Late applications will NOT be accepted.

The application, after entering student name and birth date, will auto-populate most of the form with information from Skyward. 

There is information that will need to be completed by the parents.  This includes whether the student has a 504 or IEP,  and contact information.

This year, the IT Department has programed the application to SKIP the SIGS for parents of SALTA 3rd grade students, which should make it even easier for parents to complete.

In an effort to make the students as comfortable as possible, student may bring slippers to school to change into during the tests.  We would also encourage you to send your child on time to school those days with a good breakfast in their tummies!  We will break for snack time and our normal recess time, so please plan on sending a snack that day for your student.  We will not have homework on the nights before the tests so your child can be relaxed and well rested.  The tests are computerized this year, so the students will not use the traditional bubble tests.

We are hopeful that all our students will do well by testing in their “home school” environment!
