Science:
Students will understand that the sun is the main source of heat and light for things living on Earth. They will also understand that the motion of rubbing objects together may produce heat.
Students will understand that the Earth, Moon and Sun have important roles in our world by describing their characteristics, appearances and movements of each of these three unique objects.

Brain Boosters
Third graders attend special classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for Brain Boosters. Students rotate through the following classes this year:
Creativity Computer Lab taught by Mrs. Lindsay Christensen
Playworks (P.E. based program) taught by Mrs. Leesa Mansouri
Music taught by Mrs. Katie Rasmussen
Library taught Mrs. Janis Kearl and Mrs. Annette Evans
Please look at the following schedule to determine when your students' brain booster occurs. Make sure students bring/wear appropriate shoes during Playworks and return library books on the correct day.
