Topic 12: Understanding Fractions as Numbers
Divide Regions into Equal Parts

Understand the Whole as a Fraction
Fractions on a Number line Greater and Less than One
Graphing Line Plots and Length with Fractions & Mixed Numbers
Reflex Math Program: Students should be achieving a green light everyday- Monday-Friday if not 100%. Some students may have time to complete this assignment at school. If not, please add this for homework.
Practice once a week, if you are at 100% for the year.
Keep practicing once a week if you are 100% to stay sharp☺ Some kids are forgetting this step, and they are losing ground.We have students who haven’t logged in since February.

Brain Boosters
Third graders attend special classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for Brain Boosters. Students rotate through the following classes this year:
Creativity Computer Lab taught by Mrs. Lindsay Christensen
Playworks (P.E. based program) taught by Mrs. Leesa Mansouri
Music taught by Mrs. Katie Rasmussen
Library taught Mrs. Janis Kearl and Mrs. Annette Evans
Please look at the following schedule to determine when your students' brain booster occurs. Make sure students bring/wear appropriate shoes during Playworks and return library books on the correct day.
